Growing Strong
Prairie Lane Consulting, LLC, has been around for a few years now. Established in 2019, going legal and official with the State of Texas in 2021, it’s been a slow burn so far. In part, that is entirely on me: the founder, owner, CEO, web designer, writer, editor, etc. It’s tough to grow a small business, yet alone, figure out how to grow it.
As someone with a vast amount of experience in a multitude of subjects, narrowing down “who we are” is as challenging as navigating rush hour traffic in Houston. It’s a challenge, but it’s possible and has to be done.
For me personally, I’ve done everything from managing public affairs and TV/Radio teams in the active-duty U.S. Army to managing my own coffee company, with much in between. I am currently heavily interested in the growth of PLC by adding clients and contracting with freelance copy writers/editors, graphic designers, social media gurus, and videographers/editors.
There is a vast market to help small businesses grow and reach their intended customers. If they do not have a voice, they cannot be seen. My objective is to give small businesses a voice.
In addition, one new echelon of PLC is working with other companies contracting with the U.S. Government. This was an unexpected client, but a great client and friend, and we are both helping one another succeed. With any new endeavor, I add that experience to my library and consider it a newfound ability.
Even at the ripe age of 46, I’m adding to my toolbox. Are you adding to yours?
